My name is María del Pilar de Alvear Corchado, I was born in Chile the 6th of February of 1997. I graduated last year from a Bachelor degree in International Studies in the Carlos III University in Madrid, with one exchange year to Northeastern University (Boston), where I entered the Dean’s List.
From my work experience I want to highlight an internship in the summer of 2018 at the Spanish Embassy in Washington DC where I developed the task of political analyst. Then in the fall of 2019, I worked as a political consultant in the Vonselma Group, where I have learned the art of communication, of crisis management and strategies design. I also worked in a political magazine called the Political Room, where I was an editor focused on the US internal and foreign policy, and I was also in charge of the Tweeter account. Now, I am working as an intern for UNRWA Headquarters in Amman, for the Department of Risk and Security Management. I am very passionate about the idea of justice and equality. My professional and life goal is to arrive someday to a power position which will allow me to improve a little bit the world.
