Maen has eight years of experience in the nonprofit sector, he is handling now a position as Migration Program Support Advisor at the Canadian Embassy in Jordan, Maen earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Business Administration with Honors from Coventry University in UK. While working as Project Coordinator for “Maharat”Life skills project funded by UNICEF and implemented by The Ministry of Youth, he helped to design work plans and evaluation spot checks of the project in twelve governorates in Jordan with close coordination with all the participating agencies of the program in order to advance youth empowerment and to promote our local community-based organizations. Also, Maen has been selected as Enterprise for Peace Ambassador to the“One Young World” representing Jordan related to youth issues. Previously Maen worked with governmental ministries to develop policies with other nonprofit stakeholders that would support and create capacity development plans to overcome potential problems and to continually improve services provided to beneficiaries. Through these experiences, he developed strong project implementation and coordination skills, as well as, high level of networking and communications skills. Maen Aloquili is interested in human rights, conflict resolution, and youth entrepreneurship with strong passion for economic development policies and women’s empowerment globally.
