“Having more than four years of experience of working in NGO sector and implementation of sustainable development projects in particular, in addition to my education I am so interested in attending the summit and I hope you will find my qualified.
Over the past two and half years till the current time, I am working as a “Project Coordinator” and a “Research Assistant” at Besme International Group for Humanitarian Assistance NGO. I have also worked, two years before, as a “Project Coordinator” at the international non-profit youth-led NGO ‘GAME’, which gave me wide experience about working in the sector, project coordination, fund raising, sponsorship, Social Media and website editing, monitoring and evaluation, etc.
Furthermore, my work focused on promoting gender equality, organizing training sessions about peace building, GBV for youth in Lebanon, planning activities, women’s rights, etc. My key responsibilities were also handling communication with different local and International stakeholders, project’s budget management, putting work plans and making sure they meet the targets and deadline of the project. In addition, I was responsible for internal reporting, reporting to donors and stakeholders and reporting to UNHCR in Lebanon through ActivityInfo despite participating in their various working groups.
In terms of education, I am currently finalizing my Masters II degree in Development and Economic Journalism from Lebanese University (UL). I got my Masters I degree in Media and Communication Science, which gave me wide knowledge in analyzing development and economic indicators and data, communication, social work, research methodology, data collection, social science international relationships. In addition, I have studied Biology for two years at the Lebanese University that backed up my background on health.
As a Journalist, I have a strong background in the basic principles of social science, public and international relationships, communication, researches, gathering and providing information. I have worked as an editor and reporter at Asia News Agency, in addition to a lot of experience and training at different media like Lebanese Television, Sawt Al-Shaab Radio station, Sawt Beirut radio station, and different local magazines.”
