BRIEF OF SOMEONE OF THE ACTIVITIES I HAVE CARRIED OUT AS AN INDIVIDUAL AND UNDER PEACE JUSTICE AND EQUALITY FOUNDATION
– Donation of clothes and shoes to the people of Lira (01/11/2020)
– Opening of Peace clubs in academic institutions, this has been done in over 10 schools so far around Uganda for example Bulenga Parents, Seeta Complex, Ebenezer high school, Pride college school etc program started in late 2018
– Coordinating with local village councils to resolve community conflicts so far under the PJEF we work with 15 local councils
– Donation and supporting of children of Bushenyi district with back to school shows and education scholastics and supporting them with school fees payments (since Jan/2019 to date)
– Empowering of women with vocational skills (Districts covered so far include Wakiso, Buddaka, Kampala and Mukono)
– Donation of Maize Milling machine to the local area of Budaka eastern Uganda.
– In March 7-8, 2019 I was among the two people that were invited to attend OYW & European Commission host international peacebuilding Caucus in Kigali. The world’s leading young peace builders gathered in Kigali for a Caucus hosted by the European Commission and One Young World – the global forum for young leaders. Coming 25 years after the 1994 Rwandan Genocide, the two-day event explored how the world can learn from Rwanda’s experience of forgiveness and reconciliation with the aim of countering violent extremism across the globe
– In August 2019 I was invited as a motivation speaker where I lectured students of St Augustine University Mwanza Tanzania Peace after University. Theme of the Seminar “Life After University”
