The United Nations Security Council Resolution 2250, adopted by the United Nations Security Council on December 9, 2015, emphasizes that “the world has never had so many young people and that they often constitute the majority of the population of countries affected by conflict”. This resolution therefore urges “member states to consider ways to increase inclusive youth representation at all levels”. The inclusion of young people in conflict resolution is critical towards ensuring lasting peace in the world. This realization is what drives me and inspires my interest in the youth sector and work for young people to bring lasting peace to my country and globally. Thus, He mobilizes and sensitizes young people to the issue of peace and security and also encourages them to achieve the goals of sustainable development.
