My name is Tahira Hanif and I have completed my bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance. During the whole academic years of my entire education, I have performed very well in education and co-curricular activities as well, which helped me develop many skills that were mostly are lacked in youth like project management, youth empowerment, interacting with people from diverse backgrounds, public speaking, working for peace and other social causes. Since my childhood, I was very eager to work for the betterment of society and for the less privileged ones. I remember the time when I was so young and was not able to do anything but at that time I just used to pray that one day I will be able to make an impact, and yeah that came true and I’m helping thousands of people in my community; in the capacity of starting a small business, getting an education, providing food & clothing, providing training to raise awareness in youth, working for SDGs and helping individuals in improving their skillset. If I talk about reasons why I should be in the Global Peace Summit then I can say that my empathetic nature, good communication skills, ability to learn quickly, and having lots of experience in social work is making me a good fit for the program. I am the person who believes in aiming high as mountains and consider it as difficult as reaching the top of a mountain even though it would require lots of hard work, success isn’t easy nor is luck but success belongs to those who work for it. And I believe my determination, thirst for knowledge and creating impact, aiming high, and not compromising for less will make me a good fit for this.
