My name is Simar Ali, I am 28 years old, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Economics, master’s degree in field of business administration (MBA) in 2020, Phd in processing at Damascus University in field of Organizational Entrepreneurship. I am a trainer of entrepreneurship and university debate in many international organizations and local charities, through my work in the field of training and project management, I have always been in direct contact with youth and young people and the problems they face in managing their own businesses, which gave me an opportunity to launch my own entrepreneurial project (startup) based on the implementation of workshops in various specialized technical fields. After the success of my project in 2020, I was selected to be the ambassador of the Mediterranean Forum organization to achieve the sustainable development goals (SDGs) in Syria, through this position, I had the opportunity to get acquainted with many active and influential personalities in society, in addition to spreading the goals of sustainable development on a wide level. I work as an activist in the field of volunteer and humanitarian work, where I worked in several targeted youth volunteer projects, such as, a French organization called “Bright Inventors”, which spreads the culture of invention and scientific research among young people at the university level to help them obtain patents, and a community initiative called “Futurists”, which was held in the children’s prison, where it was a distinctive and unique experience. In this community initiative, I provided training in several areas for children inside the prison, to help them obtain educational and professional opportunities and start their lives properly after leaving prison. I will seek to implement many activities and events in Syria in cooperation with civil society organizations and encourage young people to engage in civil society and work on coexistence and achieving peace in accordance with international standards.
