Ever since I was a young girl, I have been labeled to be a peace maker and the helper of every case in need. From the age of 16, I have found my passion to be part of making a positive and peaceful change in the world. I started with a program called Face to Faith whose founder is the United Kingdom’s ex-prime minister Tony Blair. Face to Faith is a program for individuals aged 12–17 years which allowed via videoconferencing international interaction where cross-faith discussions may take place. The proclaimed aim was to break down religious and cultural differences and thereby reduce conflict. From this, I submitted my application to Faith Acts which is another program affiliated with the Tony Blair Faith Foundation. I was chosen to be the youngest net bearer in the world at age 16. I was tasked to advocate irradicating malaria in Sierra Leone and raising funds for the community there in order to buy nets for protection. My passion kept on growing. I became a Corporate Social Responsibility intern at Bank Audi which was responsible for helping the youth through various programs as well as advocating SDG 8. Throughout this time, I was simultaneously volunteering with Injaz Lebanon who is part of Junior Achievement Worldwide and Injaz Al Arab. I used to deliver programs to more than 1,000 underprivileged students across 10 years in all regions across Lebanon. I did not stop here, I wanted more. My thirst to helping people only grew exponentially. I joined the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon as a fundraising officer and helped the center in achieving its yearly budget of $15 million. I am currently still giving programs with Injaz Lebanon. Summing all this up, my aim in life is to spread peace and give a voice to all those who do not have one.
