I am Syed Shamsher from Quetta, Balochistan. I have recently completed my bachelor’s in Civil Engineering. As a peace-loving person, I try to create harmony everywhere I go. Being a Pakistani citizen belonging to the under-provided and balk ward area of Pishin, Balochistan, one can merely daydream of receiving these types of great opportunities. I am one of those fortunate people who received information about Global Peace Chain and the one who aims to attain this opportunity, by connecting with diverse population around the city and country. I am very motivated, self devoted and hardworking person while having great Leadership skills, has a best opportunity to inspire people around me and also to learn and get exposure with the help of Global Peace Chain. Experiences and observations have taught me never to miss any opportunity. I think, there is nothing difficult in life to achieve if you pursue your dream and devotion to it. Myself, being a Civil Engineer have attended various conferences and seminars, where I met hundreds of people. This way I communicate with them and learn different things from their perspective and point of views. I have never stopped working hard in my life and that is why I think anything is possible is you try to achieve it. In my opinion, I am the best and suitable candidate for the role of Global Peace Ambassador, as I possess very strong Leadership skills. I was the only student selected form Civil Engineering Department to attend Higher Education Commission’s event. That event was about Sustainable Development Goals, where I presented creative ideas and I was honored with an award too. I was also invited to 16th Young Leaders Summit and a certificate was presented for my participation. My group won the best WWF Eco-Intern Project award for the plantation of 100 Trees in Islamabad, which I was leading.
