Robel Grmay Gebretnsae from Eritrea was born and raised in sudan. He graduate with Information Technology and Accounting with A DISTINCTION grade CGPA 4.27. After graduation he started volunteering to help his community and he became a refugee advocate.
over the past two years, he has dedicated himself as activist in voluntary work and trainer and have gained substantial experience in the educational sector. he has collaborated with various
organizations, such as the Volunteer Hub Organization and the UNCHR (Telling the Real Story), as a facilitator and community mobilizer to enhance the skills of children and to promote the significance of volunteerism and helping refugees . he has also played a key role in spreading the culture of volunteerism, Diversity, peace building and fostering community entrepreneurship with the aim of promoting sustainable development goals.
During his professional and volunteering capacities, he has made effective decisions that bore impactful results for these organizations and I have occasionally played an active key role in spreading the culture of volunteerism and fostering community engagements with the aim of promoting sustainable development goals.
Robel believes by volunteering our services to different causes we can make a big difference.
Currently Robel is the chairperson of YALI Regional Leadership Center East Africa – Alumni chapter of Eritrea and alumni of YALI at Business and Entrepreneurship Track COHORT 46.
His dedication to fostering peace and promoting harmony within his community can be clearly witnessed.
Robel has actively engaged in various initiatives and projects aimed at resolving conflicts and building bridges between different groups.
Robel possesses a strong understanding of the complexities surrounding peace building efforts. Their unique perspective as an individual from Eritrea, a country that has experienced its share of conflicts, would provide valuable insights and enhance the diversity of perspectives.
Robel would actively contribute through his knowledge, experiences, and dedication to promoting peace. his presence would undoubtedly enrich the discussions and foster a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities in peace building efforts.
