Olela Tonny is an optimistic, resilient, visionary, and entrepreneurial-minded with a demonstrated history of working in the education system, health wellness, and fitness industry. Having over 7 years of experience in advocacy by supporting the implementation of programs, administration, project and program coordination, monitoring and evaluation, and training. His passions are leadership, innovation, youth advocacy, problem-solving and transformative development.
He is a member of the UNFPA Youth Advisory Panel in Kenya where he works with a diverse group of
youth advocates to advise UNFPA Kenya Country office on programming and position community issues nationally and internationally. He also serves as a volunteer under-secretary head of administration for the Global Youth Consortium to end FGM by 2030 a joint program for UNFPA-UNICEF where I work with over 1000 youth advocates to advise over 55 UNFPA implementing countries globally on issues youth engagement in advocating against Female Genital Mutation (FGM), Gender Based Violence (GBV) and capacity building on peace, human rights and Sexual Reproductive Health Rights.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Special Needs with IT) Sign Language and his interests lies in championing unlikely alliances, connecting ideas, people, and places at both national and international levels.
