“I am Nailya-an international student from Kazakhstan. I was born in a Uighur family that owned a small restaurant. Working there and helping my mother organize annual charity dinners for retirees, I realized the significance of contributing to society.

My path to becoming a socially-active person began in 2018 when I was elected school-president and started organizing academic conferences dedicated to significant historical figures. During my presidency, I obtained permission from the state educational body to celebrate Autism-Awareness-Day to implement DEI(diversity, equity, inclusion)strategy at my school.

In 2019, I started linguistic and cultural studies, won “”the Best Speaker”” award at the republican level debates, and received a letter of appreciation from the school-principal for leadership and organizational skills.

At 15, I became financially stable enough to open the “”ZhasVision”” volunteer-initiative in the comprehensive education of young people. The project consists of the forum, school olympiad club, and media. “”ZVForum”” is a department prompted by a UN report about Kazakhstan’s youth suicidal statistics that is initiated to solve this problem by familiarizing students with basic psychological concepts. “”ZhasVision”” also promotes the culture of additional learning accessible to every student through the “”Zhas””school club. “”Zhas”” is based on the cooperation of high school “”mentors”” with achievements in humanities, who prepare “”mentees””-future humanitarian contests participants for free. Another department is “”ZVMedia,”” which I formed by leading a team of 18 volunteers to create articles for the “”reading youth movement.””

My latest accomplishment is participation at Asia-International-Model-United-Nations-Conference. I was the only chosen participant from Kazakhstan at the UNHRC consulate, which discussed the fragility of women’s rights in Afghanistan.

Each of my endeavors is connected with the desire to contribute to the UNSD goal of quality education. Participation in the summit is a new quantum leap in achieving my life mission: giving every adolescent equal education opportunities.”
