Uganda

I am a Ugandan student at Makerere University doing B.sc Food Science and Technology. I am Chairperson of Mitchellex Christian Fellowship, a Fellowship of Christian students. I am also a Gender mainstreaming Student Peer Trainer where I train students about sexual rights and how to avoid sex harassment. I have completed a Millennium Fellowship project Educate Grace in 2020 as a Millennium Fellow of class 2020 where I organized community activities to raise funds for school fees of economically disadvantaged children. I have received appointment as the International Youth Change Maker (IYCM) Ambassador in Uganda to spearhead SDGs in Ugandan youth. I have also served as the Chief Editor for College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Makerere University as well as Chief Editor for the School of Food Technology, Nutrition and Bioengineering at Makerere where I edited college and school magazines and other student publications. I am also the Social Media Coordinator of The Secret Initiative, a youth organisation that organizes motivational drives to students in secondary schools and organised an annual Secret Initiative Catalogue Conference. I have edited a book titled “The Secret to Getting Government Sponsorship on Merit” used to motivate secondary school students. I have also attained several certificates from the United States Institute of Peace for completing courses about Peace and Conflict Resolution. I have attained a Commonwealth Badge of Open Leadership. I have attained certificates in UN-CMCOORD courses of working in Complex emergencies and working in Natural disasters from the United Nations Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
