“I owe my boyhood to the wise city of Abu Dhabi, where I did most of my schooling. Migrating back to India for senior-secondary grades helped me to perform at the Kerala state youth-festival which is popularly considered Asia’s biggest fest.

I graduated in business from a government-aided college and during this period, I attended SIGN International Social Leadership Conclave hosted at the International Islamic University of Malaysia. Being the elected chairman of the student’s union, I could closely experience democratic functionings and their welfare impacts. In pursuit of my extended civil-service dreams, I moved to New Delhi in 2019 and that’s when I realized the necessity of learning law to take ahead my selfless ambition of serving society. I secured admission to the prestigious Campus Law Center at the University of Delhi, which is often regarded as the country’s best law school.

I initiated an independent peace-building research project called the Kashmir Journal in August of 2019, exploring the scope of a possible resolution to the decades-old Kashmir crisis. I did multiple courses on peace-building from the Global Campus of the United States Institute of Peace & a certified eCourse from the United Nations. Under the patronage of a former Supreme Court judge, I have also founded a cross-border peace platform called the Border Peace Forum. It’s a registered non-profit entity under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. Earlier last year, I incorporated a social-entrepreneurship initiative called the Go.Kashmir peace tourism, in order to reverse-fund my research, and now it focuses on promoting Kashmir as an internationally acclaimed peace-tourism destination. I was recently awarded the Tata Trust’s 1947 Partition Archive research grant and also selected for the annual cohort of the Rajeev Circle Fellowship run by California-based Motwani Jadeja Family Foundation.”
