I’m Yasir Yaqoob, I am 26 years old Pakistani who strives for excellence and passionate for global change, and prosperity. I belong to a rural area of Punjab, Pakistan,
I graduated with my degree in Electrical Engineering. I have some background in Energy Sector. currently I’m studying MS Electrical Engineering, and working with “The Centre for Development of Academic Excellence” (CDAE).
I tend to take part voluntarily in events and activities mainly focused on promoting education as well as youth empowerment in our society. I’m also appointed as USM International Student Ambassador.
My goal is to raise awareness among young people about the importance of education.
Being lucky enough to get quality education throughout my life, I wish the same for my fellow youth, I strongly believe that the more the youth is educated and empowered the more the world step towards the overall peace and prosperity. I Participated in Smart Education Expo Kuala Lumpur 2019.
I love to work for the betterment of people in every way that’s why I did volunteer work with many organizations namely, Al-Khidmat Foundation, Zindgi Trust, Justajoo, The Kashf Foundation, and many more. I also conducted blood donation camps.
I conduct computer classes in summer camps for low-income students also working to
better serve the needs of low-income students with special needs.
I always wished to bring a positive change in society and to serve the community.
I myself regard life is a total pot of opportunities. One has to harness one’s skills and abilities to the maximum of one’s capacity. For every problem, there is a solution. I regard life as a blessing gift to humanity. One should strive hard to improve not only his lot but for his fellow beings.
