My name is Iury, I am from Brazil, I am 31 years old and currently I am attending a Ph.D in International Law focusing on Climate Change. For the past 5 years, I have been working with human rights at different levels in almost all continents in the world. My first experience was with facilitating a group of 120 youth in Brazil and Nairobi, after that I moved to Norway with AIESEC having the chance to raise awareness on the SDGs, and then moved to Ireland to work with vulnerability. While studying my Masters in the United States, I worked for CJA and also for WFUNA in New York as a Youth Program Assistant, being responsible for selecting the Young Leader of the Year in 2020. These former experiences helped me to be selected for an internship with the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva and also as a policy researcher in Nepal.
