“I am a 26 years old pharmacist, graduated from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences in 2019. I consider myself a young leader, a passionate philanthropist, and a social activist. Born in Lahore, Pakistan, I was inspired by the tales of social work from a very young age.
In July 2017, I managed enough funds to begin my first social work project. I made a small team of adamant youngster volunteers and opened the first school in a slum area of Lahore. Fortunately, the project became successful. As I worked on this project, I became more experienced on how to tackle the obstacles, and how to communicate better with the state stakeholders.
With these acquired skills, I went on to launch Saya Khudaya e Zuljalal (SKZ) organization under my name. Through the platform of SKZ, we founded the SKZ Model Schools in Lahore and Gilgit-Baltistan, providing quality education to more than 700 children in the slums area. With teamwork, the SKZ organization successfully initiated food drives and installed water treatment plants to provide clean water in three villages. The efforts of the SKZ organization are covered by numerous local media channels in Pakistan. In recognition of these efforts, I went on to receive the 1st “Peace Achiever and Leadership Award”, and “25 under 25 Women Leadership Award” in 2021. Further, I lead the campaign of “No Hate in My State” that mobilizes the youth of Pakistan to strive for peace and equality. As an entrepreneur, I founded a digital marketing agency, “Squarelix” based in Pakistan. I am also a founder of the online pharmacy “EDAWA” promoting telemedicine in Pakistan. The aim of my endeavors is to achieve the UN sustainable development goals in Pakistan and I won’t stop till I get there!”
