Besides a graduate degree in sociology and an undergraduate degree in social work, I have an experience of 13 years mostly in human rights, safe migration, disaster response & risk reduction, GESI, good governance, and land rights. The expertise gained in different arenas while working with different organization, networks, and alliances have been crucial in implementing development projects in different parts of the country. My engagement in different research related to anti-human trafficking has always been helpful to my role at managerial level because of the conceptual clarity on national, regional, and international legal instruments. Most importantly, I have worked at the grassroots level, as a social worker, and at the manager level that has given me the opportunities to build in the perspectives at different layers of work and to understand the nature of coordination at different levels. Networking with organization in India, Bangladesh, Sri-Lanka, Malaysia, Thailand, and South Korea for advocacy and capacity enhancement has been very enriching to my professional career. As a child safeguarding focal person of the organization, I am a trainer of safeguarding training. I was awarded with Outstanding Student Award by St. Xavier’s College, topper of the batch certification by Progress Higher Secondary School, and Best Employee Award by CWES Nepal.
