Fatima Zahra El OUARJANI

Fatima Zahra El OUARJANI

Morocco

I am Fatima Zahra Elouarjani “English Language Instructor/ Applied Linguistic Researcher /Volunteer”.I was born and grew in Boujdour “a town in the south of Morocco. I was studying there until I got my baccalaureate in 2014. Since there is no university in this area, I had to travel 16 hours by bus to Agadir (because the plane ticket was too expensive). I was living in Agadir on my own, far from my family for 3 years until I got a Bachelor’s degree in fundamental BA in English studies/Faculty of Arts and Humanities. After that, I passed the professional BA exam in Rabat and was studying there for a full year. I got my professional license “TEFL” in 2018 at the Faculty of Education Sciences in Rabat, the capital city of Morocco .After that, I passed the exam of Applied Linguistics & English Language Teaching MA program” the hardest masters degree program in Morocco”(In Linkdin profile, there are more details about my studies as well as my work experience).
I have been working in social work since my childhood . I recieve many emails and facebook messages of help – seeking every day to answer all of them. One of my biggest goals in life is to spread peace and hope. As Leo Buscaglia says “Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.” I was studying and working in many Moroccan cities, and this made me receive different trainings, learn about different cultures and different ways of thinking, and it also gave me the opportunity to work in the field of volunteer work with many Moroccan associations.
I think the most important point to discuss concerning my Biography & Social Achievements is that I devote a lot of time every day to helping students complete their studies successfully. I give them guidance and information about the prospects of the study branche they have chosen, useful references, and motivate them not to give up. I also receive several messages from professors, engineers, doctors … every concerning the effective ways to learn English or Research Papers Writing. I had friends” National and International ones” from different Fields of knowledge, students and employees, and this coughs up access to the information that, in turn, i forward to people who need them, regardless of their academic path differences.
I am also happy that I was able to convince many people ; who have dropped out of school; to continue their studies. Every day, I look for chances for Continuing professional development”CPD” outside Morocco “study scholarships, job opportunities, conferences, internships, camps, voluntary work and I share these opportunities with my colleagues and everyone who is interested in these opportunities.I will not deny that volunteer work is very tiring, especially as I do more than my duty because I believe in the value of what I do. I feel others a lot : anyone of us may be in a position of weakness and need information and someone to help and encourage us” A little help can save lives”.
I am very active and I like to develop myself and share everything I learn with others. I have a tremendous ability to listen and help others. In previous years, four of my friends became depressed, and I kept in touch with them constantly and helped them until they regained their mental health.I thank God who gave me the grace of feeling others and doing the best to spread peace and positivity, and encourage people to work hard an follow their dreams regardless of their difficult circumstances that they may live in. Although volunteering can be hard work sometimes, it generates a tremendous sense of achievement and fulfilment when you feel that you have made a difference to somebody.Until now, I receive thank you letters from different people telling me that they will never forget my support in times of distress when everyone has abandoned them.
I can also bring you closer to my personality by talking about my experience in the master’s course. We were 28 students in the class . Six of us were full- time teachers and had a big problem in getting the class content of each session. Because they were full- time teachers in public institutions and studying a master’s degree at the same time. I was studying in the most difficult MA programs in Morocco. Because of the fierce competition in the class, these teachers did not find anyone to help them when they can not attent some classes. I used to send them all the lessons and explain to them as if they were attending all the lessons before they asked me for help simply because when I saw their suffering, I said to myself, I could have been in their position and wish I could find someone to help me.
I faced many difficulties in my life and did not find anyone to help me because I do not complain about my problems to people. I faced my problems on my own. I did not even tell my parents for fear of their health deteriorating because my father and mother suffer from diabetes. But, praise be to God, this did not prevent me from shining or from helping people and volunteering .I have plans for big future projects that will take place in Morocco in the field of Education, Self-development, voluntary work, Creativity as well as Peace and Hope Spread. Those innovative projects will be an added value not only for my country but for the whole world. As Leo Buscaglia says “Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.”
The above Paragraphs’ Ideas may seem random because I have a lot to say about my personal and professional life, my past struggles, my promotion of peace, as well as my volunteering , so I chose to write these lines spontaneously and wrote the first thoughts that came to my mind when I read the question of “Write down your Biography & Inspire us with Social Achievements”.
