Eric is a Violence Prevention Specialist, who works with communities and governments to create comprehensive approaches for preventing and responding to violence. He has been working within the United Nations network to support countries across the globe, as they address issues of violence and equity for over 10 years. He is a former Spokesperson for United Nations Women, and he has presented for the United Nations General Assembly 3 times. He has also been invited to the White House multiple times for recognition of his violence prevention work. In his time as a prevention specialist, Eric has trained over 100,000 people across the globe. He has worked with violent extremists, children and youth, survivors of violence, and policy makers, all to shape norms and policy that promote safer more equitable communities. Through education, training, policy, and advocacy, Eric has been supporting a national and multi-national audience for communities in their efforts to end violence.
