Samuel Ashaolu has over five years of experience in community outreach advocacy coupled with community engagement coordination and international cooperation toward peacebuilding. Samuel serves as the current International Ambassador for the International Office of Georgia Southern University, USA in promoting peace, inclusivity, and diversity to over 27,000. In the summer of 2019, Samuel was selected as a Fellow of the prestigious Hansen Leadership Institute and represented Nigeria from a pool of over 1,000 applicants in San Diego, California, USA to be trained in global peace, leadership, and international corporation. He returned to Nigeria and became the Director of Engagement at UNITE 2030 Lagos Changemaker Chapter, Nigeria where he focused on the facilitation of community relationships through online communities and conduct outreach to grow the community. Samuel seats as a decisive member of the Student Outreach Committee of Georgia Southern University working with college professors and the executive dean in building and fostering a better student experience. Over 5 years, Samuel has helped several communities to explore their needs and abilities to agree on solutions, share knowledge and resources effectively when he volunteered with Slum Achievers Foundation, Nigeria in 2015 and reached out, and equipped over 200 youths in dilapidated communities. Ashaolu Samuel is a graduate student in MSc. Information Technology at Georgia Southern University and volunteers as the IT lead in Youth Career Commission Inc. Georgia and holds a Diploma in Leadership from the African Centre for Leadership, Strategy, and Development, Nigeria. Samuel is motivated to become a beacon of hope in the liberation of his community, and he is committed to providing opportunities through technology for social change, to act as a bridge in the improvement of marginalized communities and conflict resolution. He envisions becoming a Global Ambassador for Security advocating for SDG 11 and 16 towards all-around prosperity.
