“My name is Karina Alpayeva, I was born on 4 December 1999 in Aktau city, Mangystau region.

In 2006, I entered secondary school No. 2, which I graduated with honors and a gold medal. During my time at school, I became a three-time winner of the Republican Olympiads in languages and history. In the period from 2015 to 2017, I served as the president of the school and created a free group for learning English for children from socially vulnerable families. My educational and social activities have been repeatedly honored by letters of appreciation from the mayor of the city.

At the university, I began to be actively involved in both scientific and social activities. The activity was marked by letters of appreciation from the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences. I have two scientific articles on my account (“”Problems of international law as a specialty in the Republic of Kazakhstan””,””Current issues of civil classification of objects in the field of IT””), one of which is published in the international collection GSI-5. I was the organizer of the round table at the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the first Legathon and Moot Court of our university. Being an active participant in the Panem debate club, I held the post of Deputy Chairman in it. In 2018-2019, I was a judge at the international debate tournament “”SDU Cup”, as well as a guest judge at the first Republican school Debate tournament.

Starting in 2019, I became actively involved in the mini-model of the UN and in the same year I was awarded the title of “”Best Delegate””. After that, I was invited as President of the General Assembly to another mini-model. In the same year, with the support of a group of like-minded people, I participated in the creation of a moot court club at the university.

In 2021, I graduated from the university with a diploma with honors with a GPA 4.0, and was also the owner of a presidential scholarship for excellent academic performance. In the same year, I received full funding to study at Nazarbayev University, majoring in Political Science and International Relations. The choice of a master’s degree was greatly influenced by my internship experience at the UN office in Almaty, as well as participation in mini-models of the UN. Currently, I am a research assistant and preparing to publish an article about the Chinese Road and Belt Initiative.”
