Alieu Badara Camara is a remarkable young individual pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a specialization in International Relations at the University of The Gambia. With a deep understanding of global governance and public policy, Alieu aspires to foster peace and understanding among nations.

To enhance his knowledge of African economics, Alieu completed a short course titled “Economics through the Lens of Africa” with the London School of Business wheeler institute. Leveraging this insight, he analyzes and proposes sustainable solutions for African nations.

Alieu’s commitment to continuous learning is demonstrated by his executive diploma in international diplomacy and protocol with La Plage Meta Verse. Through this program, he gained valuable insights into diplomatic protocols and international relations.

Passionate about entrepreneurship, Alieu actively participates in The Gambia Entrepreneurs Organization. His venture into commercial organic vegetable farming showcases his innovative thinking and dedication to self-sufficiency, aiming to invigorate the economy and inspire others, also contributing his quota towards climate change.

Alieu’s volunteer work in his community with collaboration with the Red Cross Society in The Gambia focuses on health awareness programs, particularly child vaccinations for diseases like polio, rubella etc.He also serves as Secretary to the Culture and Welfare Minister at his university, showcasing his organizational skills and effective communication.

With his experience as a Data Entry Officer at the Ministry of Health, Alieu contributed to a nationwide campaign on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS). His attention to detail and accuracy in data entry supported the campaign’s goals.

Alieu’s achievements and experiences reflect his determination to effect tangible change. Combining his academic pursuits, specialized knowledge in international relations, and practical experience, he is poised to make a lasting impact on both local and global communities.

As he seeks to attend the Global Peace Summit New York 2023 International Conference, Alieu aims to connect with like-minded individuals worldwide. By sharing experiences and learning from others, he broadens his perspective and contributes to global peace and cooperation.
