“Alexander Taylor is a social entrepreneur who empowers leaders to address societal, community, and environmental issues, often alongside the UN and other international institutions. He is the President & Founder of Artem NextGen, a strategic advisory group that empowers young social entrepreneurs to address global challenges in alignment to the Sustainable Development Goal #17 of Collaboration. Social entrepreneurs are innovators that use entrepreneurial skills to address societal, community, or environmental issues. After internationalizing my efforts when living overseas for 7 months in Senegal, Alexander presented the organizational efforts and methodology at the United Nations European Headquarters. Following the presentation, he was given the mandate to successfully scaled the UN-partnered 1M2030 initiative to catalyze youth leaders in alignment to the 17 SDGS in partnership with the Global Challenges Forum and the United Nations. Our training of youth towards these efforts have included collaborations with the Shawn Mendes’ team, Shaquille O’Neal, and NBC Universal. My story is soon to be featured by a New York Times Best-Selling Author for being a key youth leader of our time and I was this year’s 2021 McKinsey & Company Achievement Awardee.

Prior, he spent seven months overseas in Senegal after high-school immersing and developing community projects as a 2018-2019 Global Citizen Year Fellow. He returned home and shared his grassroots experiences as 1 of 9 spotlight speakers for a premiere event at the United Nations European Headquarters in Geneva.
