Abdullai Tanko was born in Ghana. At 22 he relocated to the United States to further his education. He graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts in International Studies and Political Sciences with a minor in Public Policy. Abdullai has over the years served in many positions in various organizations including the Ghana Aids Commission. In December 2019, he founded Sinka Global Organization with offices in New York and Ghana. He currently serves as the Executive Director of the organization. Sinka Global Organization was created with a vision to help address social injustices in education among children, and mitigation of poverty in impoverished communities in the Wa District of Ghana. Currently the organization has about eight permanent staffs and 9 volunteers. Currently , as the Executive Director of Sinka Global , it’s of great satisfaction waking up everyone knowing that I’m going to be a part of a team that helps to bring equity in society. As an agent for social change, my passion keeps going. From finding ways to raise funds to help support childhood education in rural Ghana to help women finding solutions to poverty by creating enabling environment such as providing vocational training in weaving, and soap making. It is even more rewarding when you realize your policies bring positive results at the end of the day.
