Anushree is a young professional and have mostly worked as researcher, consultant: both at national and international platforms. She has worked and carried research studies with organizations such as Aga Khan Rural Support Programme, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (Arunachal Pradesh, India), Ashoka (Spain), Norges Iddretshøgskole (Norway) and NGOs at national level. Anushree’s research studies and work profile majorly attributes to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 7, 9, 13 and 15), specially targeting Climate Action (SDG 13) and Life on Land (SDG 15). She finished her bachelors from India’s top ranked university- Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi and later received Erasmus Mundus Scholarship by European Commission to pursue masters’ in a joint degree program offered in England, Norway and Germany. For her further interest in environmental studies and climate change, Anushree has also undertaken trainings under United Nations Institute for Training and Researches (UNITAR). Anushree has been selected for the following international events and conferences: -Selected to represent India at 2020 Global Solutions Summit- The World Policy Forum in Berlin, Germany to interact with top-ranking members from WTO, G20 Nations, including Angela Merkel, Frans Timmermans and Nobel Laureates to discuss policy recommendations on major G20 issues. -Selected as a Participant to HPAIR Asia 2019 Conference in Kazakhstan. The Harvard College Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) is founded by Harvard University to create a forum of exchange for young professionals to discuss and learn about the most important economic, political, and social issues facing Asia. -Selected as a Fellow at India Fellow - A 13-months Social Leadership Program for Young Indians aspiring to understand social issues and bring changes (2019). -Top 5 Finalists for Yara Open Innovation Challenge (February 2018), Oslo, Norway. Our Idea ‘Proactive Smart Farming’ tackles the problem of solving world’s hunger problem through the use of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and LoRA technology. -Selected as the Brand Ambassador of National Service Scheme (NSS), JNU (2016-2018). -Received the Women Empowerment Scholarship from Developing Nations, offered by The Intern Group, NY, for the internship program in Ashoka, Spain (2016). In recent future, Anushree wishes to contribute her work in Climate Change, focusing mainly on Carbon Emission Trading between developing and developed nations. She is very interested to carry thorough research studies and bridge knowledge gaps on how countries can cooperate through carbon markets, emission trading and support for less developed nations at international, national and local levels. This would highlight interplays on socio-economic and cultural dynamics between developed and developing nations. She is also a certified mountaineer.
