I am a student of Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Psychology from Aryabhatta College, University of Delhi with a passion of exploring new and unique ideas and implementing those ideas in the best possible way.
I believe in courage, hard work and dedication. Leadership, Volunteering, Event Management, Effective Communication and Willingness to learn have been my key skills.
I am the HEAD OF PUBLIC RELATIONS of Srijan- The Psychology Department of Aryabhatta College, University of Delhi under which I had organised Mental Health Awareness Programme including the issue of suicide prevention. I am the Class Representative of Bachelors of Arts (H) Psychology (2019-20).
I was the President of the Student Council (2018-19), House Captain (2016-18), Volunteer Head of Cultural Meet, Organiser of Diwali cum Art Mela and Language and Literature Fest, Head of Career Counselling Team (Co-ordinated with 20 peers for counselling 500 Children) of OSDAV Public School, Kaithal, Haryana.
I am motivated by compassion for others. I have volunteered in multiple organisations as Volunteer Assistant of “NSS Unit” of my school and college for cleanliness, awareness and donation drives to Assistant Supervisor of “Nar Narayan Sewa Samiti” for upliftment of underprivileged kids and now has volunteered myself for “NADA India Foundation” which work for Nurses during this COVID-19 pandemic.
Along with, I am a National Judo player with a belief that every girl must learn self-defence techniques. Recently won Bronze medal in Inter-College Judo Championship, University of Delhi. Also, I was awarded by Shri Kaptan Singh Solanki, Governor of Haryana for singing in Cultural Event organised by “Haryana Rajya Bal Kalyan Parishad”. Also, I have presented a model on “Co-operative Farming” in the Science Exhibition at National Level organised by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). I was awarded by Padma Shri Punam Suri, President DAVCMC for participating in two national level events. I have participated in INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS OLYMPIAD and NATIONAL ECONOMICS OLYMPIAD conducted by Students’ Union of Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) and Economics Society (SRCC) respectively under Business Conclave (India’s 4th largest Fest). I was recently awarded by World Humanitarian Drive as Winner (ranked 18th among 60 selected entries all over the world) at “Covid Times Poetry” Contest.
In addition to all this, I have done several online courses in the field of “Digital Skills for Work and Life” from Accenture, “Financial Globalisation, Capital Flows, and The Global Financial Cycle” and “Financial Inclusion: Evolution and Contemporary Challenges” from Asian Development Bank Institute, “Introduction to Business Management” from King’s College (London), “Specialised Module on Human Health and Climate change” from United Nations Institute for Training and Research, “Covid-19 and Mental Health: Caring for the Public and Ourselves” from American Psychiatric Association.
I consistently seeks out constructive feedback so that I can improve myself. I am passionate about serving the down trodden because i find lower strata of society suffering from miseries.
