Vasiliki Chatziefthymiou is from Greece. She is studying at Aristotle University at the Department of Philosophy and Pedagogy. She is very interested in topics such combating youth extremism, societal issues, peace and non formal education.
She has worked in different organisations in Greece and abroad as a youth worker or youth trainer and followed multiple training courses and seminars. She has involved in many activities aiming to promote intercultural dialogue and respect to human rights. She mentors and helps young people to acquire abilities which may help them in their own professional future; promotes intercultural exchanges, school cooperation and gender equality in education, European programs and actions and programs of the Eurasian Foundation. She also has developed partnerships with corporate and institutional stakeholders in order to link young people and promoting diversity, peace and human rights in the work environment. Her scientific interests are related to the teaching of Human rights, Social Responsibility, intercultural education, teaching Greek as a second/foreign language and non –formal education. She speaks English and Italian.
