Sumaira Waseem is a law student and is serving as a member of several youth organisations— Ideas Foundation Pakistan, Azaad Pakistan, Pakistan Red Crescent Society to name a few. Miss Waseem has been engaged in youth activities since her time as a high school student. She believes that engagement in youth activities espouses human rights, gender equality and cultural integration which, in turn, induce approval and acknowledgement, engendering a global society. She is currently a Women Deliver Young Leader, Class of 2018 as well as a Kectil Colleague. Miss Waseem is a frequent participant of the yearly tree plantation drives, as well as an avid volunteer of the breast cancer campaigns. She has been accorded the title as the Ambassador of Spanish language in Pakistan for the year 2018 by Fundación César Egido Serrano
