“My name is Alla Rudneva. I am from Kyrgyzstan, a country that has faced many turbulent events in the 20th and 21st centuries. As a curious child, I always asked my parents why this or that event happened and was shown on television. For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in history and social studies. That is why I decided to get an in-depth insight into politics and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with honors in 2020.

From 2019 to 2020, I was an active volunteer of the United Nations Development Programme in the Kyrgyz Republic. As part of my volunteer training, I passed through capacity-building workshops on Sustainable Development Goals, Gender Equality and Fighting against Sexual and Gender-based Violence, Conservation of Biodiversity, Climate Change, and Energy Efficiency. In addition to educational activities, I took part in communications campaigns, such as a mask challenge to beat air pollution, fight plastic pollution, and activities aimed at raising awareness of snow leopard extinction.

I am a big believer in the benefits of international experience in education. I have been taking part in various short-term international programs. In 2020 I became the laureate of the two analytical essay competitions “The Future of the System of International Security. With or without NATO?”, and “”Architecture of European Security and Prospects for Its Formation in the Context of Russia-NATO-EU Relations””.”
