I am Nikoloz Sepiashvili, a third-year student of the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Economics at the International School of Economics at the Tbilisi State University (ISET).
A few months ago I returned from the United States of America to my country, Georgia. I participated in the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (UGRAD), sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. I became the finalist of the Global UGRAD Exchange program 2019-2020 and received a scholarship to study at the Illinois State University in the USA.
I am a very active and hardworking person, I like to communicate with people and participate in interesting events.
As a future economist and financial analyst, I actively participated in extracurricular activities related to my main area of study. I participated in the Economics Mentorship Program in the USA. I
took active participation in the work of the Economics Student Association at my host university. For my outstanding service to the organization I was honored to be elected as an honorary member and representative of the Illinois State Economics Student Association, thus I became the first foreign honorary member of the Association.
In addition, I became a member of the Student Forecast Team of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, which is another great growth opportunity in my major study field in the future.
Furthermore, I do research in Economic History. My socio-economic studies are published in the
National Archives of Georgia and in the Polish scientific journal- “Kavkaz – Przeszłość –
