Mauricio Forzan holds a master’s degree in public administration from Georgetown University, where he was also President of the Latin American Policy Association.
He also has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the Universidad Iberoamericana and a master’s degree in human rights from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico. Mauricio won the Mexico City Human Rights Youth Award in 2018.
He worked for two years as a federal public official in the Mexican Secretariat of the Interior and as a consultant on public affairs in private companies. He is an active associate at the Mexican Council of International Affairs and currently chairs The World Peace Builders Foundation.
