My name is Mahmoud Waked, I am from Palestine. I was born in Oman Sultanate and I hold both Palestinian and Jordanian citizenships. I grew up in Nablus city in Palestine where I studied Mechatronics Engineering at An-Najah National University and worked as a medical sales/service engineer. For many years, I have had the privilege of participating in and organizing many events and workshops that aimed to benefit my community in many different ways and levels and to contribute in the efforts of enriching its prosperity. I have volunteered in many organizations, associations and NGOs in my life, such as “Project Hope NGO” where I volunteered for years by working with international volunteers from all over the world to provide the people of Palestine with variety of educational courses, social and charitable events and literary exhibitions and more. As an engineer, I also have volunteered at the “Engineering Association”, which is the association responsible of organizing the engineering field in Palestine. There, I have participated in and helped with organizing and executing many social and charitable events, as well as tens of scientific lectures, courses and seminars.
