Madei Lillian kaseke an Educator,Coach,Mentor,Disability Rights Advocate, Womens and Girls rights advocate.I have been a special Education and sports teacher for the last 7years and this has given me alot of opportunities to advocate for policy change in view of inclusion and independent living for children living with disabilities. I have been advocating for peace and inclusion of groups that are differently abled and those that are under privileged in my community such as girls and women. The medium that I have been using has been inclusion and promotion of independent living through the use of sports. I have had an opportunity tonwork with diverse groups women and girls with disabilities and those without as a way of bringing peace and harmony among the two groups. To showcase how disability is not inability through sporting activities. I believe that having a diagnosis of a disability should not be limiting but should be a label given inorder to access the right services in society. I am very passionate about inclusion and promotion of independent living in society. This is because I believe that no one should be left behind just because of a disability. I believe that by inclusion persons living with a disability are empowered to live independently. And are able to contribute at all levels of society because having a disability does not mean that they are unable but is simple a means to gain access to services in society. With the right attitudes and access to services,persons living with disabilities are able to live independently,and contribute to the Well being of society.
