Kibret Alemayehu, is an Ethiopian, received his PhD in Business Administration (Christian) specially focused his dissertation on servant leadership style. He has a Master’s degree in Mechanical Design Engineering and then started his career as a Lecturer at Mizan-Tepi University. At Mizan-Tepi University he was the founder and the first dean of College of Engineering & Technology. After Mizan-Tepi University, Kibret worked in different institutions (local & international). He also worked on a seagoing vessel as a seaman and visited all continents and oceans of the world except Arctic & Antarctica oceans.
He has also been involved in conflict resolution, peace keeping, social justice and community service and he will continue to do so in the future. Ethiopia is currently facing peace & security problems because of so many social and political hardships. As he have already trying to resolve such problems by peer-discussions, teaching in the religious institutions and he believe that it is important to collaborate with peoples who have same passion and interest to resolve our country’s current problems.
Currently, Kibret is working as Director of Space Engineering Research & Development Directorate at Ethiopian Space Science & Technology Institute, Executive Committee Member in one of the political parties, Youth and Children Service Committee Leader, and involved in other social & community service activities.
