Jakub Zientala

European by heart and soul. Graduated in Public Policy, European Law, and Political Science. Activist convinced by the idea of the united and democratic Europe. Dedicated to making the world a better place. Although Europe is his first love, he has a little flair for transatlantic relations.

Jakub believes that we live in truly terrifying and amazing times. Our international order is crumbling in front of our eyes and becomes more and more unstable. In his opinion, it is up to young people, to lead the change and create a new fairer and inclusive system, that will reflect the needs of our times.  Jakub believes that young people have the right and deserve to be heard by decision makers and politicians.  For years he has lobbied and advocated for the inclusion of young people in the decision-making process from local to the international level.  He was president of Young European Federalists in the Netherlands, Managing Director of the 89 Netherlands, the organizations that strive to find answers and give voice to young people. He also has represented his adopted home, the Netherlands in the Council of Europe, as a youth delegate.
