In 2013 I went to Tunisia for 2 months in which I got involved in climate change and childhood projects. In those projects i achieved to clean beaches and make an awareness campaign for Tunisians so they know the importance of taking care of their beaches. Also, we achieved to help around 40 children by collecting cloths from donors. After this experience I got involve in leadership development through AIESEC, the youth international organisation that seeks peace through leadership development and that sent me to Tunisia in 2013. In those 2 years, I was an active member and I achieved to change around 30 young people life by giving them the experience volunteering abroad in social projects that targets a different SDG’s. Due to my leadership development and SDG training experience I was honored to coordinate the leadership development program at Al Akhawayn University in Morocco (2019-2020) where I could continue watching social change through leadership development in young people. In this position I coordinate 5 team projects (20 people) that targeted the achievement of as least one SDG in Morocco. (Projects were implemented in Ifrane-Fez region.
After coming back to Mexico I decided i wanted to share all this international experience gained by motivating my students. As a professor in international relations i believe that my duty is to engage my students into peace and conflict resolution by motivating them to have an impact in their society.
