Isa Alhaj Hussein is co-founder / vice president of Muslim Voice for Peace & Reconciliation (www.mvpr.org). Also he a peace activist and a known student leader in Saudi Arabia.
A resident of Mecca, Saudi Arabia, he is teaching peacemaking and encouraging young Muslims that behaviour is our best means of dawah in the world today. The son of an accomplished Saudi environmentalist (Dr Mohammed Alhaj Hussein, Isa knows first hand the importance of providing leadership in both the fields of peacemaking and the environment. As MVPR youth advocate, Isa is accompanying MVPR founder Samuel Shropshire on the 2018 MVPR world peace mission that will visit 5 continents and 16 nations during this summer season. Isa proudly proclaims, “Our message is world peace and leadership. We are training Muslims leaders in this age of great need.”Isa Alhaj Hussein has 9 years’ experience in human rights and peacemaking, youth advocacy and motivational speaking. Alhaj Hussein has been an active youth leader in the Tampa, Florida area and later in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Alhaj Hussein’s interests lie in the fields of business, management, human rights, international peacemaking and religious reconciliation. He is known as a community leader, having successfully organized and led humanitarian projects from start to finish. He is fluent in Arabic and English. He has good organizational skills and inspires all around him. Alhaj Hussein is a goal-setter—an excellent achiever and is passionate about accomplishing his missions. He is a “world changer” and seeks to recruit and train others to follow his example. Recently he won Star of the University Award and represented Saudi Arabia in the UN’s 8th University Scholar’s Leadership Symposium in Bangkok, Thailand and in the World Bank Youth Summit in DC on December 2018. Also he was a speaker at Tedx Jeddah. |
