Ibrahim Khadar is a lawyer, peace activists and social activists who helps vulnerable communitis and also campaign free from fair and living with peace.
For the last 6 years he has been involved accesses to justice and legal aid advocacy in Somaliland. Ibrahim has been employed many NGOs as well Public sector. For instance, started from 2014-2017 he has worked multiple human rights projects including access to justice projects in Marwo organization and Center for Policy Analysis (CPA), where he is responsible for engaging legal aid stakeholders as well as vulnerable communities need for legal representation to connect with the courts and lawyers. I have also worked as Public sector such as Director of Prisons and Human Rights Affair at Ministry of Justice, this job gave him an extensive experience of access to justice advocacy and rehabilitating criminals. I have been participated legal aid projects in prisons to improve legal representation of inmates and to achieve justice.
Ibrahim has been worked in Media sector more than 7 years. He was the program editor at the oldest newspaper in Somaliland “Jamhuria.” He also a social activists in the social media by campaigning peace and free from fair.
He holds a Bechalor’s degree in Law (LLB) at University of Hargeisa, Master in Comparative Public Law and Good Governance (LLM), at Ethiopian Civil Service University (ECSU), Addis Ababa and Master in Peace and Conflict Studies at IPCS, University of Hargeisa. he also so earned varies professional research and legal trainings like High-quality Research in Somalia (HQRS) in 2015-2016.
