Hala El Bab graduated from high school in 2018 with high distinction and currently is a medical student at University Saint Joseph de Beirut. Since 2015, she was volunteering in Adyan Foundation for Diversity, Solidarity and Human Dignity. In Adyan, she participated in social activities that aimed to feed the less privileged and in social camps that focused on building soft skills and core values.
Hala speaks and writes fluently several languages: Russian, Arabic, French, English and is currently learning German.
For two consecutive years, 2020-2021 and 2021-2022, she helped edit and publish “Campus-j”, her University’s Newspaper. She wrote about women’s rights and problems they encounter in our societies.
She was also an active member in many of her University’s clubs such as: The Lebanese Medical Students International Committee – The Emergency Medicine Interest Group – The Lebanese Oncology Interest Group.
Furthermore, she took part of the founding team of the Lebanese Neurosurgery Interest club named “Walter E. Dandy Neurosurgery Society” where she served for two consecutive years as a Secretary in the Board and an active member.
In July 2021, she was one of the selected students who participated in the Model Youth Parliament organized by the “Friedrich Naumann Stiftung for the freedom”. Values like Democracy, Liberty, Freedom, and Diversity were highlighted in this event.
In June 2022, she participated in the workshop “Political reforms through Data Science and AI” where she presented with her team an innovative idea to reform politics in Lebanon and make a change.
In 2022, she is volunteering with Barbara Nassar Association, an Association that supports cancer patients in Lebanon.
Hala’s great passion is bringing healing to people and helping others live a life of Dignity, Equity and Respect.
