“My name is Evie Nataly Diaz Quevedo. I was born on July 11, 2003 in Lima. My parents are called Leopoldo and Karin, and I have two siblings: Lía and André. Since school, I showed a great inclination towards mathematics, I loved to practice solving and creating problems. In addition, I liked to do sports and activities related to art, specifically acting. In this field, as well as mathematics, I participated in several inter-school competitions, in which I stood out satisfactorily. In high school, I was able to perform in more competitions related to science and pictorial art. I was also part of the debate club at my school, thanks to this I was able to participate in Model United Nations of other institutions.
In my last school year, I was able to be part of the School Parliament, in which I proposed a bill called “”Recycling Campaign”” in the Ecology commission. In addition, I entered the university with a Software Engineering degree, since it encourages you to identify problems and design digital solutions based on them.
In this sense, I completed my first year of university in 2021. After the first academic cycle, I participated in a course at the Polytechnic University of Madrid on Programming with Python, learning about the creation of technological alternatives. In the second academic cycle, I was able to serve as a delegate of the Faculty of Engineering at FestiUSIL; a contest between the faculties, which contains recreation tournaments related to the well-being of the environment. In the first academic cycle, I managed to position myself in the top tenth of my career; while, in the second cycle, in second place. Currently, I am participating in the Crea+ volunteer program, which consists of preparing children for the 2022 academic school year. Also, together with my sister, I am developing a social enterprise for the Impact Startup Competition.”
