My name is Emmaculate Asige Liaga. Currently, I am completing my Ph.D. studies at the University of Pretoria analyzing peace building strategies in Africa with specific focus on South Sudan. I first began to question the mainstream way of looking at peace and security from the perspective of western perspective and considered a broader and deeper view to peace that allocates attention contextual underpinnings to phenomena.
