I am a Yazidi activist, genocide Survivor, Author of Walking Alone and president of Operation Yazidi (Non-profit Organization at Salt Lake Community college in USA).I have worked for different humanitarian organizations in past few years. I started working for Non-profit organizations in 2015. I worked voluntarily with NRC education, WADI organization, CYCI organization, Spring of Hope organization, and I worked as a full time job with Harikar organization. I was invited to speak in conference in Israel and to speak to US Congress and administration officials for humanitarian aids for refugees and displaced people in Iraq. I also started a nonprofit organization in my school focused on increasing awareness about the genocides and persecuted people. I published a book, Walking Alone, to support the victims of genocides and working on a novel on the same subject. I also started to volunteer for UN in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.I am currently a student and full time employee. I work as a Laboratory Technician at ARUP Laboratories in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. I started a non-profit organization in my school and I have been awarded with The SLCC President’s Leadership Institute Award in 2018-2019. I have been an activist for more than 4 years now. I participated in many conferences/ events as a speaker, such as Sundance Festival Film in USA, BYU International Cinema in USA, Crying in Frontlines:Iraq and Syria in Isreal, and Washington, D.C.
