Eliode BAKOLE is from the democratic Republic of congo. He is a research assistant at Goma Volcano Observatory in DRCongo, and member of the Pleaders of Children and Elderly People at Risk, PEPA/NGO. He has a bachelor’s degree in Rural Development since 2014 at ISDR/Bukavu and currently pursuing his Masters of arts in Conflicts analysis and Inclusive development at Mbarara University in Uganda. He is a former Journalist at the University Radio in Bukavu. He speaks French, English, Spanish and Swahili. Volunteer in different youth organization such as the Young African Leaders Initiative, YALI, the Catholic Youth Network for Environmental Sustainability in Africa, CYNESA and the Youth in Landscapes, YiL.
In June 2018, he participated in the Young Africa Leaders Initiative at the Regional Leadership Center in Nairobi/Kenya. In the same year, he attended the Global Landscape Forum at the UN Headquarters in Nairobi. He wants to contribute by all means, to a peaceful and prosperous world.
