Amb. Randall Nyah

Liberia

Randall Nyah is a radio journalist, social entrepreneur and Executive
director of Liberia Youth Radio Initiatives, a youth-led organization that
provide media skill training for young people, especially in the rural
sector of Liberia.
Mr. Nyah is also cohort 7 alumnus of the Young Africans Leadership
Initiatives from the Regional Learning Center, Accra Ghana with
certificate in Civic Leadership.
He has been volunteering with several national and community based
organizations and NGO such as the National Youth Movement for
Transparent Elections (NAYMOTE), Children’s Radio Foundation in
South Africa, United States Agency for International Development and
the International Visitor’s Leadership program sponsored by the US
States Department.
Currently, Mr. Nyah has strong experience in proposal writing, project
management and implementation, media outreach and youth’s
development as well as staff management and personnel development
through agriculture, education, business, and entrepreneurship.
As a program coordinator at Radio Gbarnga FM 96.5 MHz, Mr. Nyah
coordinate the program an production department, coordinate the
website and social media platform of the station, facilitate workshops for
youths, especially high school students in various media skill training
such as news gathering, interview technique, program production thus
enabling them become marketable in the media landscape of Liberia.
Currently, I am a graduating students of Cuttington University in Bong
County seeking BSC in sociology, social work and BA in Public
Administration.
