I am Ahmad Hosny from Egypt, social activist, I have a great experience in the field of volunteering and Civil work. I am passionate about the field of event management and project management. I hope to make a difference in the world.“Giving is not just about making a donation. It is about making a difference.” Kathy Calvin As a head of the Maan’s Supply Committee in 2015, my task was fighting poverty in a sustainable manner. The target group was poor families. we teach fishing instead of giving fish by giving them a small business and it depend on some factors, including the economic feasibility study and the place of the business and training them, In fact, this will be much better than giving them food or money that they consume and remain poor, As for rights, we are working on an important issue: getting children out of school. This is why people when they are too poor do this to make their children work with them. UNICEF stated in the Declaration on the Rights of the Child (P. 7) the importance of education as a basic right. After we found in the village of “Kabrit” that about 40 families who have taken their children out of education because of poverty, by awareness children come back to schools. In May.2017, (Roaad Sonaa Elhayah) Foundation on a project called “Rizk Halal II”. This project aims to eradicate poverty and is divided into three stages: Stage.1: collect money using campaigns. Stage.2: explore poor people making sure that they deserve help (Conduct needs assessment). Stage.3: identify and make business for poor people to make their situation better. The main idea is : Volunteers are divided into teams, including a spirit of great competition to raise more donations through campaigns to help the largest number of poor families. After collecting donations, poor families are explored, research is conducted on their financial situation, families are chosen and a small business is established for each family to help themselves and strive to change their lives under the supervision and follow-up of us. This has succeeded in its first season, and the life of some 20 poor families in Suez has changed. my role is a team leader and my task is to supervise the team and motivate them to collect money and participate in the exploration of families as well. We target poor families who have the motivation to change their lives for the better, The project is funded through money donation campaigns.
