Born in Haiti, Adelin Pierre has a bachelor degree in Environment and Land Planning at Campus Henry Christophe of Limonade. Since his early age, he developed a passion for peace, water, environmental issue including climate change.An active member of Haitian society, he was able to represent voice of youth at national and international levels including at UN high level meetings. Due to his dynamism, he was the outstanding person of 2018 for the environmental field.
Currently, Mr. Pierre is the National Coordinator at Yes Akademia and also Young Climate Ambassador – nominated by Environment Ministry of Haiti. As national coordinator of Yes Akademia, I organize an annual conference for empowering young people on climate change and also I’m leading a radio program for raising awareness of the public on different issues like water, human rights, climate change, etc.
