#Day 1: Was the Sensitization,Awareness And Enlightenment Exercise as the Team Members on there unique Polos with the hash tag Youth4Peace went round the School Environment And Lecture Halls with Different Materials like Banners,Public Address System And Papers to Enlighten the students on the need for attaining a Peaceful Society, A Society void of Violence, A Society that believes in Justice, Love And Equity, The Roles Of The Youths in the development of the Country as Peace Makers And Change Makers.
We also used the opportunity to invite them for the National Peace Summit As we told Them the Importance of participating in it.
After this activities we took some shots before Dispersion.
#Day 2 : The Main Event.
The Summit started exactly by 11:00am And Ended by 5:00pm on Saturday, Being 18th of May, 2019 at SOPS THEATRE, FUTO.
The event was anchored by One of the best MCs, by name, Owum Francis, Assisted by Amb Adaeze.
With his level of experience in the field he made the Hall Lively, as different tribes in Nigeria were well represented, Opening prayers was done by different ethnic groups; Comr Fatima said in Hausa Language, Comr. Ade in Yoruba language and Comr Blaise said in Igbo language.
Immediately after the prayers, the Nigerian National anthem was recited in other to honour our Fathers’ land, Afterwards Followed a short video clip by Amb Ahmad Muhammad (GPC PROGRAM OFFICER) as he welcomed the people, Then the Opening remark was made by Global Peace Chain Country Director, Nigeria, Amb Kaltumi Abdulazeez who was well represented by Amb Asianya Nzube Jude (Assistant Country Director, Nigeria).
The Introduction of certain personalities and different groups commenced immediately after the Opening Remark.

The Guest speakers of the day were also Recognised And the Exposition commenced immediately with the talk titled “PEACE AS AN AVENUE FOR DEVELOPMENT IN THE COUNTRY” By Amb #Ayodele Atibioke, People were really enlightened through the words of this great personality.
The Importance and benefits of Peace in the Society were Also Communicated to the students by the Students Leaders such as Comr Frank Samuel (FUTO SUG PRESIDENT) Who Spoke on “The Roles Of Peace In Students Politics”, Comr Nwadike Stanley (IMO POLY SUG PRESIDENT) Who Spoke on Attaining Peace in the institutions with the Host Communities, Comr Duru Donatus (FUTO SUG PRESIDENT,EMERITUS) who spoke on “Achieving respect and Tolerance in Nigeria”, Comr Uzoho Chuka (PAST SUG PRO,FUTO) who treated “Attaining Peace in the Society through Acquiring Skills, The Expositions were Concluded by a Global Peace Chain Delegate, In The Person Of Amb Ezekiel Nworie who Spoke on Peace in general terms.
After that was the issuance of Award.
Followed by Drama Exhibition.
Drama units from different tribes and Institutions like IMSU, FUTO Etc presented dramatic exhibitions which Communicated audience off sharp the need for peace advocacy and peace acknowledgement in the Society. Many students felt bitter as a result of their past involvement in violence On realizing the importance of peace in the Society. The drama sessions was boom!!!
After the drama session, was a “Connect” movement; Leave your neighbor and connect with another person, for a brief introduction of oneself. Many persons got to know each other through this movement as People were given the Opportunity to Network too.
It was wow!!!
The Debate session, The Topic discussed was “This House Regret the Narrative That state should not Negotiate with the Terrorists” , Which is Clearly about why the Government of Isreal Or US Shouldn’t Negotiate with Terrorist even if its at the Detriment of her Citizens,

As this debate session was going on, refreshment is being enjoyed by the audience. On ending the debate session, The Global Peace Chain Delegate, Amb Ezekiel Nworie, Assisted By Asianya Nzube Jude gave a closing remark; thanking the participants for their patience in staying until the extreme of the program.
Immediately after the closing remark, group pictures was shot in an organized manner.
