JOHN LUFUKARIBU TOLY BECOMES THE NEW AMBASSADOR OF GLOBAL PEACE CHAIN IN DRC

The peace activist, John LUFUKARIBU TOLY, has been appointed since Friday August 30, 2019, Ambassador of Global Peace Chain in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

This is an appointment that crowns his tireless fight for peace through society in Ituri in the northeast of the country plagued by the activism of armed groups, such as the CADECO militia of Samuel Ngujolo, the FRPI, the Maïmaï Simba …

“We recognize his tireless journey towards peace and social reforms in society,” writes Kamran Zafar, executive director of Global Peace chain in the notification.

The interested party says he considers his appointment as world ambassador for peace in the DRC within the Global Peace Chain, as the power and opportunities to serve others through the current slogan of Global Peace Chain “ONE MAN CAN” and it is an awareness campaign carried out since January 2019.

“Our appointment challenges us, also our responsibility which is to accomplish a difficult but possible mission, and it is out loud that we say:” we are ready for service, and we are motivated with vigor, dynamism that we are going. fulfill our mission well as ambassador ”reacted J. Lufukaribu.

Born on January 11, 1989 in Goma, the tourist capital of the province of North Kivu in the east of the country of Lumumba, John LUFUKARIBU TOLY is the youngest child of a family of six children of the couple LUFUKARIBU and Céline.

Graduated from university studies in Analysis and Programming and Computer Management at ISIPA / Kinshasa, he spent his adolescence in the territory of Rutshuru, the stronghold of the DRC war. This allowed him to learn about what it is and how to live peace in everyday life.

Passionate about ecology since the age of eight, he was nicknamed curator because of his interest in the Virunga National Park (PNVi).

In 2009, after his university studies, he became a communications officer for several local, national and international NGOs. His feat will be worth him to be taken over in June 2013 by the INGO which assumes the management of PNVi as Network Administrator (ICT-Officer) to manage the computer park of PNVi.
