GPC, Team Nepal formed its departments

Global Peace Chain, team Nepal formed its internal departments today. During the first formal online meeting of newly appointed members conducted by GPC, Team Nepal, the Assistant Country director Rashika Karki announced the name of the departments and the members of the respective departments. GPC, Team Nepal will have 6 departments. The Media Department will be led by Sushmita Karn and Nishu Karn, Communication department will be led by Himanshi Karn, Human Rights department will be led by Anand Nepali and Riya Karn, Literature Department will be led by Deepi Karn, Health & Education department will be led by Samaya Khadka and Dr.Pragy Mallik and the Environment & Climate department will be led by Sandip Paudel. Those departments will work on the areas related with UN SDGs.

During the meeting, Dr.Pragy Mallik presented and explained the new campaign “Peace : Every time, Everywhere” going to be launched by GPC, Team Nepal. Country director Shivang Dutta explained about the objectives, goals, works done by GPC and the action plans of the Global Peace Chain. According to Mr.Dutta, members were selected among large number of applicants. The meeting was hosted by Global Peace Ambassador Miss.Himanshi Karn.
